Paper Fundamentals Love

I've found a new paper to love. Don't get me wrong...I would never leave any of my other paper loves (see here and here and here) but this is definitely an addition to the collection.

Paper Fundamentals Basic Assortment is cardstock pumped up a notch. It's double sided designed cardstock with the same pattern on both sides but one side has a glossy resist. The shine just makes me a little giddy! Such simple paper bringing simple pleasures.

I made this card using the grey arrow patterned paper from the assortment.

I'm back!

It's time I got back to sharing my creations! I made this card using the wonderful Cricut Artbooking Collection. This would make a cute card for any teacher in your life!

I used the School Layout button for the yellow photo mat cut and for the Think, Grow, Learn  sentiment and the apple. I cut the notebook paper overlay from the Top Secret Mini-Album button on the cartridge and then stamped it with a stamp from the "Take Note" My Acrylix stamp set that comes with the Artbooking Collection Bundle. This was a fun and easy card to put together. The Artbooking Cartridge is a handy tool, not only for scrapbooking, as you can see. The "Real Dial" size button on the Cricut makes your creating limitless! Visit my website and order your own Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and start having some fun of your own!

You Are My Happy-LOVE Bird

The last card I made using the "You Are My Happy" trio stamp set was quick and easy. I used the alphabet stamp set for this card. Sometimes I find it difficult incorporating alphabet stamps in my card making, but the size is perfect for sentiments on cards!

For this card I used pattern #19 from the Make It From Your Heart Vol 1. I then used Frosted Grey CS for my base from the Frosted paper pack. I also used the patterned paper from the Frosted paper pack. I stamped the letters  and the little bird from the stamp set. I also used the Silver Glitter paper

This is a SUPER stamp set! The ideas are endless! Make sure to visit my website and place a qualifying to get this trio set for just $10!

Hugs And Kisses

My 2nd "Happy" card was fun to piece together. The "You Are My Happy" Close To My Heart My Arcylix stamp set is SUPER versatile and useful.

For this card I used pattern #23 (rotated) from the Make It From Your Heart Vol 2. I then used Frosted grey CS for my base and the diamond pattern from the Frosted paper pack. I also used Sorbet and Slate CS. I stamped the sentiment "Hugs Kisses and Best Wishes" from the "You Are My Happy" stamp set and the large flower twice. I also used the faux stitching from the Stitch Wonder stamp set on the patterned paper.  I then inked the flowers with Exclusive Inks makers: the light shade of Cranberry, dark shade of Honey and dark shade of Lagoon. Now, I could have cut the flowers out using my Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge, BUT I had to fussy cut. Now, don't get me wrong, I use my Cricut all the time to cut out my stamped images, but sometimes, I just can't help myself and I have to grab my micro-tips and go to cuttin'!

Here you can see the different shading and blending I did the the markers and popped those flowers right on up. To embellish I used the Silver Glitter paper (I could have also used the Silver Shimmer trim) Then I added grey opaques and Base and Bling Floral accents

OOOXXXXX!

You Are My Happy

I found my happy this weekend! I decided to pull out the incredible "You Are My Happy" Close To My Heart My Arcylix stamp set and celebrate National Stamping Month...my way...by making cards of course!

For this card I used pattern #24 from the Make It From Your Heart Vol 2. I then used Sorbet CS for my base and the diamond pattern and frosted grey CS from the Frosted paper pack. I stamped the sentiment set from the "You Are My Happy" stamp set and the small flower from the image sheet was masked and stamped as a border. And, even though it's impossible to see, I stamped the same flower 3 times on the buttercup pattern from the Babycakes paper pack and cut them out and glued on the sentiment. Then I added bitty sparkles and sorbet ribbon.

Make sure you check out all the new products from the Fall/Winter Idea Book. The ideas are endless! Make sure to come back this week to see the other cards I made!
